Overview
The Poison Spyder 3/4 inch LED turn signal (part number 41-04-080) is a clear or amber LED lamp for use with Poison Spyder front Tube Fenders. It can also be mounted anywhere that a 3/4 inch hole can be drilled in a flat panel. The three-wire pigtail lets the lamp work as a turn signal, a marker lamp, or both.
It is a universal fit lighting accessory that can go on any suitable flat panel with a 3/4 inch hole. Its turn signal function depends on how the pigtail is wired into the vehicle’s lighting.

Wiring and hole preparation
An LED turn signal draws far less current than a standard bulb, and this can confuse the vehicle’s flasher. Some vehicles flash very fast with LED lamps alone, so the flash rate should be checked with the lights running before the panel is closed. A load equalizer or a flasher designed for LED use can correct this.
Drilling the 3/4 inch hole needs care. Deburr the edges so the grommet seats flush, and check behind the panel for wiring, fuel lines or body braces. Seal the connection with a bead of silicone or a rubber grommet to keep road water out of the lamp body.
Route the three-wire pigtail away from moving parts and heat sources, and secure it with clips. Use a fused circuit, and make sure the ground is clean and bare metal. Test each function separately before reassembly.
