Overview
This is the rear axle pinion yoke for the TeraFlex High-Angle Rzeppa CV drive shaft conversion. It is one of the parts that make up that conversion at the rear end.
It is intended for vehicles with a 3 to 6 inch lift, and the dust shield is included.

Pinion yoke and conversion parts
The pinion yoke is the link between the rear axle and the driveshaft, so its fit and condition affect vibration, U-joint life and the seal at the axle. When a lift changes the pinion angle, the yoke and the driveshaft need to be checked together. Small changes in angle can show up as vibration that seems to come from the driveshaft itself.
The pinion nut and seal should be inspected when the yoke is installed, and the nut should be torqued to the value given in the vehicle’s service information. A dust shield keeps road debris out of the seal area, so it should be checked for damage and proper seating during each service.
