Overview
The Dana Spicer 1350 Series pinion yoke, part number 3-4-5761-1x, is a replacement yoke for Dana 30 and Dana 44 axles. It is designed as a stock replacement and uses a bolt and strap style retainer, so owners can rebuild a worn driveline with a new yoke rather than a used one.
It fits front and rear Dana 30 Reverse, Dana 30 Standard, Dana 30 TJ and Dana 44 axles, and pairs with a 1350 Series U-joint.
Key features
- Stock replacement design for Dana 30 and Dana 44 axles
- Built for the 1350 Series U-joint
- Bolt and strap style retainer
- Front and rear axle locations are covered.
Yoke and U-joint compatibility
The pinion yoke connects the driveshaft to the pinion, so wear at the yoke shows up as clunking, vibration or a U-joint cap that will not seat. Before installing a new yoke, check the splines or the bore for wear and make sure the U-joint strap fits flush. A yoke that is cracked or pitted at the mounting face should be replaced rather than reused.
Driveline angles and pinion seal condition matter when a yoke is replaced. Replacing the pinion seal at the same time avoids a repeat leak after the new yoke is fitted. Bolt and strap retainers need correct tightening to hold the cap, so use the service information for the axle before reassembly.
- Replace the pinion seal during yoke work
- Check the U-joint caps for wear
- Inspect the driveshaft flange for damage

Vehicle fitment
Fit is matched by axle type rather than by vehicle year or model. Match your axle type and U-joint series before ordering.
Dana 35, Dana 50 and Dana 300 applications are not covered. Confirm your vehicle’s year, model and trim before ordering.
Installation notes
Check the U-joint series and axle type before removing the old yoke, since the pinion nut must be released to swap it.
What’s included
Confirm whether a pinion nut and seal come with your order, and have them on hand before removing the old yoke.
