Overview
The Smittybilt SRC Roll Cage and Tubular Door PAK combines the seven-piece bolt-in SRC roll cage with SRC front tubular doors. The cage uses 1020 DOM tubing and the Knuckle System, which attaches to the factory roll bar with a pivot on one end and grade 10 fasteners on the other.
The tube doors are welded from steel and install with the factory door hinges and latches. The package includes a mirror bracket for mounting 1997–2002 mirrors to the tube doors. The cage bolts in without modifying the vehicle, but the factory roll bar covers still need modification.

Maintaining the tube doors
Tube doors carry their own weight and rely on hinges and latches built for factory doors. Over time those hinges can loosen, and the latch may not line up with the striker if the doors weigh more than the factory set. Check hinge bolts, latch alignment and any rattles after the first drive. Keep the hinge pins lubricated and check the door gap when the doors are closed.
Door mirrors mounted to tube doors can vibrate on rough terrain, so tighten mounting hardware periodically. A cage and door system can change how the vehicle handles a rollover, so a light inspection after any hard event is worthwhile. Keep spare latch pins on hand and check the weatherstripping if the doors are often used with a soft top.

Installation notes
The factory roll bar covers must be modified, and the package will not work with A-pillar switch pods. Plan for both before installing. Because the doors reuse the factory hinges and latches, check those for wear before fitting the tube doors.
