Overview
The Poison Spyder Customs 4 Inch LED Tail Light, part number 41-04-036, is a six-diode flush-mount LED tail light with a red lens. It is designed for Poison Spyder Crusher Corners and Trail Corners, and it also fits other manufacturers’ corner protectors.
It can also be installed anywhere a 4-1/2-inch hole can be cut in a flat sheet metal panel. The flange mounts flush against the panel.
Key features
- Six-diode LED light source
- Flush-mount flange style
- Red lens
- Fits Poison Spyder Crusher Corners and Trail Corners, or other corner protectors
Mounting a flush lamp safely
A flush-mount lamp depends on a clean, flat mounting surface. Any bend or ridge in the sheet metal can stop the flange from sitting flat, which lets water and dirt collect at the edge. Deburr the cut hole, then test-fit the lamp before sealing it, so the gasket compresses evenly and the lens sits square.
Wiring is the other half of the job. Use a fused circuit, route the leads away from heat and moving linkage, and secure them with loom. Because LED lamps are sealed units, a damaged lens or cracked housing usually means replacing the whole lamp, so inspect the lens after trail runs and tighten the mounting hardware when it loosens. Check the function on the bench before final assembly.
- Deburr the hole before fitting the flange
- Seal the flange with a gasket or sealant
- Fuse the circuit and check the function before final assembly

Installation notes
The light needs a 4-1/2-inch hole in flat sheet metal. Wire it through a fused circuit, and confirm local road-use rules for the lamp’s function before installing it.
