Overview
The G2 Axle and Gear 95-2018-001 is a forged 1541H steel rear axle shaft for the GM 12 bolt 8.875 inch axle in the Chevrolet C10 2WD pickup. G2’s title gives 1970–1981 and its vehicle list gives 1969–1981. The shaft has 30 splines and a 5 on 5 bolt pattern.
G2 marks the shaft LH/RH, so the same part goes on either side of the axle. The company says its shafts are heat treated to exceed OEM specifications, with alloy steel chosen to survive the added load of high-torque use.

Vehicle fitment
G2’s vehicle list for the 95-2018-001 shows the 1969–1981 Chevrolet C10.
G2’s title says 70-81 while the list starts at 1969, so check a 1969 truck with G2. The title says C10 2WD, so 4WD trucks are not intended. Confirm your vehicle’s year, model and trim before ordering.
Installation notes
