Overview
The Dana Spicer 2007354 is a JK Dana 30/44 ball joint kit for the front axle of the 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK. It fits 2- and 4-door models.
The kit contains one upper and one lower ball joint for one side only, so the other side needs a second kit.
Ball joint wear and alignment
Ball joints connect the steering knuckle to the control arms and carry the weight of the front end while allowing the wheel to steer and move with the suspension. As they wear, steering becomes loose, tires wear unevenly, and the front end can wander or shimmy. Because the joints control geometry, they are best replaced as a pair on the same side, followed by an alignment.
Many JK front axle jobs also involve tie rod ends, track bar bushings and a steering stabilizer, so inspect those parts while the ball joints are out. Support the axle securely and avoid loading the ball joint with the knuckle hanging. After installation, check for smooth movement and have the front end aligned before driving long distances.
- Check tie rod ends alongside the ball joints
- Inspect the track bar and its bushings
- Have the alignment checked after replacement

Vehicle fitment
This fitment is inferred from the JK reference in the product title and description, not from a manufacturer vehicle list. The 2007-2018 range covers the JK generation, so the kit does not cover Wrangler TJ, LJ or JL models. Confirm your vehicle’s year, model and trim before ordering.
Installation notes
Ball joints affect steering and alignment, so support the axle securely and check front end alignment after the joints are installed.

One upper ball joint and one lower ball joint, for one side of the axle.
