Overview
The Vision X 9118390 is a 4 inch square Utility Market Xtreme LED work light in black with a wide beam. It sits in Vision X’s Utility Market line for industrial and commercial use, and it carries universal fit rather than a specific vehicle.
The Utility Market line also includes conventional 4 inch lights, a Utility Flood and a Utility Strobe Beacon, so the square housing is one choice within the series.
Key features
- Square 4 inch housing in black
- Wide beam pattern
- Xtreme LED design within the Utility Market line
- Universal fit, not vehicle-specific
Square housings in the lineup
A square housing gives a different mounting profile from a round lamp, with flat faces that can sit flush against a bar, panel or bracket. Flat faces also make it easy to align the light square to the work. Check the corners for clearance, since they can catch on nearby parts if the mount is tight. When selecting, match the body style to the bracket you already own, because a mismatch can leave gaps around the housing.
Wide beam square lights suit open work areas and general visibility. Pair the light with a narrower lamp if the job also needs reach. Keep the wiring routed away from moving parts, and inspect the lens seal and mounting hardware after rough use so the housing stays secure.
