Overview
The Rugged Ridge XHD Armor Fenders and Liner Kit, part number 11615.05, is a steel armor package for the 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler (JK). The kit includes a pair of front fenders, a pair of rear fenders and a set of four fender liners. It is designed for 2-door Wrangler JK models in the 70th Anniversary, 75th Anniversary, Rubicon, Sahara, Sport, Sport S and X trims.
Each fender is made from heavy gauge 3 mm thick steel with fold-and-weld construction and a resilient black textured powder coat. The front fenders have high body lines, arched wheel openings for larger tires and an integrated vent screen to help expel engine heat. The rear fenders use a two-piece design that fully encases the taillight without gaps. The kit is patent pending.

Clearance and trail use
Armor fenders change the outline of a Jeep, so it helps to check tire size, steering lock and suspension travel before ordering. Larger tires can still rub at full articulation even with arched wheel openings, so a short test drive at full lock and over uneven ground is a sensible step once the kit is on. Fender liners sit behind the wheel opening and shield the inner panels from mud and rocks, which makes them a useful companion to the armor rather than an optional extra.
Steel fenders also add weight to the front and rear corners. Recheck the mounting hardware after the first few trail runs, and inspect the powder coat around the bolt holes for chips that could start surface rust. Touch-up paint matched to the black finish helps keep bare metal covered.

Installation notes
The Gen 2 Inner Fender Liners are designed to avoid modifying factory parts, but installation requires cutting or drilling. Read the included instructions before starting. The marker light assemblies are included; wire them through a fused circuit and check local road-use rules for lighting.
