Overview
The Rugged Ridge Front Armor Fenders, part number 11615.01, are all-steel front tube fenders for the Jeep Wrangler JK. Rugged Ridge lists them for 2007 through 2018 Wrangler JK models, including Rubicon, Sahara and Sport trims in both 2-door and Unlimited 4-door bodies. Their aggressive lines and high wheel arches give the JK a more aggressive look for off-road use.
Rugged Ridge designed the fenders to work with factory components as well as its Spartan Grill, Hood Latches, Elite Fuel Doors, modular snorkel and Rubicon Rock Rails. The fenders are narrower than stock, which the brand says gives greater clearance, and they add stylized vents at the rear to help release engine compartment heat.

Fender clearance and trimming
Front tube fenders change how tires sit under the body, so clearance is worth checking before you install them. Narrower fenders can leave more space between the tire and the body on a Wrangler JK, but the fender edge may sit closer to the tire on articulated suspension. Check tire size and steering lock after the fenders are mounted and before any trail use.
Trimming is the main job on this type of fender. Mark the cut lines with the fender held in place, cut in small steps, and deburr the edges before painting or fitting liners. Keep brake lines, wiring and the fuel system away from the cut area, and check that the fender does not rub the tire at full turn.

Vehicle fitment
It fits 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler (JK) models in the 70th Anniversary, 75th Anniversary, Rubicon, Sahara, Sport and Sport S trims, plus Unlimited versions of those trims and the Unlimited X and X. Confirm the model year against your vehicle before ordering.
The fitment covers the JK generation only, so the TJ, LJ and JL Wrangler and other Jeep models are not included. Confirm your vehicle’s year, model and trim before ordering.
Installation notes
Installation uses either the factory inner wheel liners or the Rugged Ridge All-Terrain Wheel Liners (11620.50), and minor trimming is required. Because the fenders call for cutting or drilling, test-fit each one before making permanent cuts. Wear eye protection when cutting sheet steel.
