Overview
The Rigid Industries 40333 is a hood light bar mount kit for 20 inch E-Series or SR-Series light bars. It is made for the Jeep JK Wrangler, 2007–2018, and mounts the light to the hood without drilling holes or modifying the hood.
The kit is made from stainless steel and powder coated black. It attaches at the existing hinge mounting points and carries a limited lifetime warranty from Rigid Industries.

Wiring a hood-mounted light
A hood-mounted light adds forward reach, but it also sits in the path of airflow and road debris. Before fitting it, plan how the wiring will run from the hood to the fuse box. A fused relay circuit keeps the light from drawing directly on the battery and gives a clean switch point in the cab. Route the harness away from hot engine parts and moving linkage, and use loom or clips so the wire does not rub against the hood hinge over time.
Hood mounts also change how the vehicle opens and closes. Leave enough slack in the light and cable so the hood lifts fully and closes without pinching. After the first few trail runs, check the bolts, hinge contact points and bracket for loosening, and look for cracks in the wire insulation where it passes the hinge. Re-aim the light once the mount has settled.

Vehicle fitment
It fits the Jeep JK Wrangler, 2007–2018. The mount is designed for the JK generation.
On 2013 and newer Wranglers, including the 10th anniversary edition, the bracket cuts off part of the washer spray pattern. It is not made for other Jeep generations. Confirm fit for your vehicle’s year, model and trim before you buy.
Installation notes
Hood-mounted lights also need fused relay wiring, and local road-use rules apply to auxiliary lights.
