Overview
The Rigid Industries 40337 is a fog light replacement kit for the 2007-2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. It fits two D-Series LED lights in each fog light opening of the lower front bumper. It also fits the 2007-2010 Silverado 2500 HD and 3500 HD.
The kit is designed to give a clean, OE-quality install of Rigid Industries high output lighting. The D-Series lights are not included, so the kit supplies the stainless steel housing and hardware only.

Preparing the bumper openings
The lower front bumper openings on Silverado trucks collect road grime, and the stainless housings need a clean surface to seat well. Wipe the openings and check the powder-coat finish for chips before fitting the housings. Clean, dry surfaces help the hardware hold torque and keep the housings from loosening over time.
Two lights per opening add load and weight, so wiring and aiming deserve attention. Use a fused circuit with a relay, and route the harness away from the grille, exhaust and steering components. Recheck the bolts after the first few drives, since vibration on a full-size pickup can loosen hardware.
