Wiring and light bar setup
Roof light bars add weight high on the vehicle, so the mounting point matters for stability and wind load. Keep the light bar centered and level, and avoid placing it where it blocks the windshield view. A solid roof rack or roof structure will handle the load better than thin sheet metal.
Wiring is the other part of the job. Route the harness along existing body lines, use grommets where it passes through panels, and fuse the power feed close to the battery. Seal any new holes with suitable sealant so water does not get into the cab.
Lights are most useful when aimed correctly. Set the beam height on a level surface, and recheck the aim after the first few trips since vibration can shift the bar slightly. Clean the lens often, because mud and road film cut output.
