Overview
The Mountain Off Road Enterprises WTB100 is a M.O.R.E. double jointed track bar that can replace the factory track bar. It uses rod ends in place of stiff rubber bushings and has left and right threads for length adjustment.
The bar allows greater articulation and controls side to side movement better than a stock track bar.
Key features
- Rod ends in place of stiff rubber bushings
- Left and right threads for length adjustment
- Fully adjustable
- Can replace the factory track bar
- Greater articulation and better side to side control than stock
Rod ends and track bar wear
Rod ends replace rubber bushings, so the bar moves with less flex and can change how the axle sits under load. Rod ends are sealed differently from bushings, and they are usually checked for play rather than compression. Inspect the boots and joint housings during each service interval.
A replacement bar can change the side to side position of the axle, so check the adjustment range against the factory bar before setting the final length. Keep the threads clean, and recheck alignment after any length change. Confirm the bar clears the steering and suspension parts through full travel, since a tight spot can wear parts quickly.
- Measure the factory bar before installing
- Inspect rod end boots for tears
- Recheck alignment after adjustment
