Overview
The Rubicon Express RE1883-385 is a 38.5-inch front CVO drive shaft with a black finish, for 2012-and-later two-door and four-door models that have automatic transmissions.
It works with a 1310-series yoke and is compatible with Atlas transfer cases and other 1310-series CV yokes. It needs the RE1810 yoke, and a slip yoke eliminator is not needed.

Front driveline and yoke check
A front CVO drive shaft connects the transfer case to the front axle and must work with the yoke already on the vehicle. Because the shaft uses a separate yoke, the yoke’s fit and condition should be checked before the shaft is installed. A worn yoke can cause the new shaft to vibrate or bind early.
Joint angles change with ride height and axle position, so confirm the shaft clears the frame, skid plates and steering parts at full travel. Keep the shaft free of mud and corrosion at the joints. After installation, recheck the yoke fasteners and joint clearance after the first drives.
