Overview
The Pro Comp 114509 is an ES1000 Series shock absorber designed to replace the factory shock. It has loop mounts at both ends, a 14.50 inch extended length, a 9.310 inch collapsed length and 5.19 inches of travel. The shock is sold as each and is finished in white.
Pro Comp describes the ES1000 as a performance series shock that provides optimum performance, improves driving comfort and gives better vehicle control than the original part. The series is hydraulic rather than gas charged, and the body is built for strength and long lasting durability. Adjustment is not offered, and there is no remote reservoir.
Pro Comp’s text lists a black poly-vinyl boot as part of the kit, but the specification sheet says no boot is included. Check the contents of the package before installation, so you know whether a boot is coming with the shock.

Vehicle fitment
Fitment isn’t listed for the 114509. Check the manufacturer’s specifications for your vehicle’s factory shock length and mount style before choosing a replacement with a 14.50 inch extended length.
Confirm your vehicle’s year, model and trim before ordering.
Installation notes
Because the shock is sold as a replacement for the factory unit, measure the installed length of the original shock and compare it with the collapsed and extended figures above before fitting. The loop mounts at both ends must match the vehicle’s brackets.
What’s included
One ES1000 Series hydraulic shock absorber, sold as each. The specification sheet lists no boot, so a boot is not included unless the package contains one.
