Overview
The Pro Comp 58554 is a 5.5 inch rear lift block kit for leaf spring suspensions. It is a sister part to the 58551, in the same 5.5 inch range, supplied with two cast iron riser blocks and the hardware to fasten them.
Its taper is designed to improve driveshaft angles on the raised rear. Fit is set by year, model and trim, so measure before buying.

Measuring before you buy
Before buying a 5.5 inch rear lift, measure the distance from the axle to the body at the rear and compare it with the tire clearance you have now. The block height changes that gap and changes how the tires sit in the wheel wells. Also look at the leaf spring arch, because a flat pack will not gain much from added height.
Once the blocks are in, check the driveline for vibration and inspect the U-joints. A tall rear can also change steering geometry. Have the alignment checked after the job and keep an eye on tire wear over the first few weeks of driving.
