Overview
The Poison Spyder Tramp Stamp II, part 18-04-012-01, is a tailgate panel for the Jeep JK Wrangler with the wide tailgate vent, the vent that is wider than it is tall. The panel fits over the raised vent area in the center of the tailgate and completes the Poison Spyder gear on a JK.
The center of the Tramp Stamp II is cut out so the tailgate vents work properly. It is CNC laser cut from 1/8-inch aluminum plate and finished in a textured black powder coat. The panel mounts with the stock spare tire carrier bolts and needs no drilling.
The wide vent is generally found on 2010 and newer JKs, and some 2009 models also have it. The panel is not a direct fit for JKs with the tall vent, which was typically found on 2007–2009 models. On a Jeep with a tall vent, the panel may be used if the vent assembly is removed or trimmed to fit. Check which vent your JK has before ordering, because mounting the panel requires removing the stock spare tire mount.

Identifying your tailgate vent
The tailgate vent varies between JK years, and the shape of that opening decides whether a vent panel will sit correctly. Identifying the vent before purchase avoids removing parts that will not be needed for the fit, and keeps the tailgate in working order during the install.
Look at the vent opening from behind the tailgate and compare its width and height. Note how the spare tire carrier is attached, since mounting the panel means removing the stock spare tire mount and reusing its bolts. If the vent and panel do not line up, stop and recheck the measurements before cutting, trimming or removing any vent components.

Vehicle fitment
This Tramp Stamp II is made for Jeep JK Wranglers with the wide tailgate vent, which Poison Spyder says is generally found on 2010 and newer models and occasionally on 2009 models.
It is not a direct fit for JKs with the tall vent used on 2007–2009 models, unless the vent assembly is removed or trimmed. Confirm your vehicle’s year, model and trim before ordering.
