Tan cover in daily use
A tan tailgate cover shows dust and road grime more quickly than darker fabrics, so a regular wipe-down keeps it looking consistent. Dirt left in the weave can dull the finish over time, and a soft brush helps lift grit out of the texture without rubbing it deeper.
Tailgate covers are often exposed to sun on the rear of the vehicle, which can fade colors over a long period. Parking in shade when possible and rinsing off salt or mud after trips helps the cover hold its color and keep the pouch seams in good shape.
- Brush dust out of the denim texture regularly
- Rinse off salt and mud after trips
- Park in shade when practical
- Check seams where the pouches attach
