Overview
The 11-04-011 is a bare aluminum rear plate for the 1976–1983 Jeep CJ5, the 1976–1986 Jeep CJ7 and the 1981–1985 Jeep Scrambler. It is a decorative panel that carries the Poison Spyder logo on the rear of the Jeep.
The plate is CNC laser cut from high strength, lightweight aluminum plate. It can be painted, powder coated, polished or left raw. Supplied black truss-head pop-rivets secure it. The plate is designed to fit with Crusher Corners, or with rear corner protection that ends at the vertical body seam between the quarter panel and the tailgate. A textured black powder coat version is also available.

Rear body on classic CJs
Older CJ rear bodies were built with simpler sheet metal, and the rear panels often show their age through surface rust and fatigue around the fasteners. A logo plate on this area adds a finished look while covering a section of the body that sees spray and debris on every outing.
Before mounting, inspect the rear body around the plate location for rust, bent edges and loose seams. Clean any surface corrosion and treat it before installing, since trapped moisture under a plate can speed up rust. Keep the pop-rivets tight and check the plate after rough trails, because flexing of an older body can loosen fasteners over time.

Installation notes
