Overview
The Oracle Lighting LED Headlight Surface Mount Halo Kit, ColorSHIFT version, part number ORC1214-334, mounts directly to the outside of the headlight lens on 2018–2021 Jeep Wrangler JL models.
The halos are SMD units encased in resin, which Oracle rates at IP67 waterproof. A genuine 3M VHB adhesive backing holds the rings in place, and the kit runs on 12V power that can be wired to a controller, switch or parking light harness.

Surface mount halo installation
Surface mount halos depend on a clean, dry mounting area. The adhesive needs a smooth lens surface free of wax, oil and road film, so clean it thoroughly and let it dry before placing each ring. Position the ring first with the lens cool, then press firmly along the full length for a solid bond.
Wiring is where most surface mount halo setups go wrong. Route the cables along the existing harness, secure them away from the fan and hot engine parts, and use the quick connect adapters for clean joints. Power the halos through a switch or parking light circuit that has a fuse, and check that the wiring is not rubbing on sharp body edges.

Installation notes
Halos mount to the outside of the lens and are wired to a controller, switch or parking light wiring harness. Use fused wiring for the halo circuit, and check local road-use rules before running colored halos on a public road.
