Overview
The Omix-ADA 16752.16 is a driver side self adjusting screw for 9 inch drums. It fits the 1990–2001 Jeep Cherokee (XJ), 1993–1998 Grand Cherokee (ZJ), 1997–2000 Wrangler (TJ) and 1990–1995 Wrangler (YJ). It is supplied individually and sits at the rear left.
This is a direct OE replacement with a limited five year warranty.

Driver side adjuster check
The driver side screw sets the shoe position on the rear left brake and works with the lever and star wheel to keep linings close to the drum. Over time, dust and heat can dry the threads, and the screw may stop turning when the brake is adjusted. When that happens, the shoes can sit too far from the drum and the pedal may travel farther than usual.
When you replace it, test the old screw by hand first to confirm it is seized, then compare the new screw’s threads and length. Work on one side of the axle at a time, keep track of which screw came off each wheel, and turn the adjuster to confirm smooth travel before lowering the vehicle. Inspect the star wheel and pivot as well.
