Driver side service tips
On the driver side, the self adjuster lever works in the same way as its passenger partner, moving the adjuster wheel as the shoes wear. The lever pivot can seize from rust or grease, which stops the adjuster from advancing and leaves the shoes too far from the drum. Freeing or replacing the lever restores normal pedal feel.
