Overview
The G2 JKRJRS513ARB is a Rock Jock Dana 60 rear high pinion axle assembly with 5.13 gears and an ARB Air Locker for the Jeep Wrangler JK. G2 Axle and Gear and Currie Enterprises built it as a custom order assembly, and it is made for 2007–2016 Jeep Wrangler (JK) models, 2-door and 4-door.
This is the standard-bearing version of the Rock Jock Dana 60 rear, so the bearing package is not the Big Bearing layout used on the JKRJRB513ARB. The rest of the design matches: a ductile iron high pinion center section with a rotated cover, a replaceable AR 400 heat treated skid plate, top shelf lockers and gears, Timken bearings and National seals.
The shafts are Currie 35 spline chromoly axles at 1 1/2 inches, and the tubes are 3-inch D.O.M. steel. The assembly takes factory brakes and wheel sensors, and the wheel bolt pattern is 5 on 5 inches with 5 on 5.5 inches also covered.
Key features
- High pinion Dana 60 rear with a ductile iron center section
- Rotated cover design on the center section
- Replaceable AR 400 heat treated skid plate
- ARB Air Locker
- 5.13 gear ratio
- Currie 35 spline chromoly axle shafts
- 1350 series yoke
- Dual bolt pattern for 5 on 5 and 5 on 5.5 inch wheels
- Accepts factory brakes and wheel sensors
Standard bearings and trail use
Standard-bearing axles suit owners who want the same locker and gearing without the wider bearing layout. The housing still has a ductile iron center section and a replaceable skid plate, so it can handle rocks and ledges on the trail. Locker use works the same as on any ARB-equipped axle: engage it when a wheel loses grip and release it on pavement.
A proper setup depends on the rest of the driveline. Check that the axle sits square after a lift, confirm the pinion angle, and inspect the u-joints after any driveline change. Regular fluid checks and a look at the skid plate bolts after hard runs help keep the axle in good shape.
- Inspect the skid plate bolts after rock-heavy trips
- Keep the locker air line clear of sharp edges
- Replace u-joints that show play during a driveline check

Vehicle fitment
This axle is made for the 2007–2016 Jeep Wrangler (JK), 2-door and 4-door. A 2017 or 2018 Wrangler falls outside that range, so check the model year first.
The axle is not made for the 2018–2022 Jeep Wrangler (JL), the Jeep Gladiator, or the earlier TJ, LJ and YJ Wranglers. Check the year, model and trim against your vehicle before buying.
Installation notes
Driveshaft modifications may be required, since the 60 series housing is larger than the factory axle. Have a shop with gear setup tools set the gear mesh and pinion preload on this ARB-equipped assembly, and support the axle on stands while the driveline is changed.
What’s included
The assembly includes the Rock Jock Dana 60 rear housing with the ARB Air Locker, 5.13 gears, Currie 35 spline axle shafts and the 1350 series yoke.
Not included: an air compressor, which is sold separately.
