Coil spacer installation tips
Coil spacers sit above the factory coil or strut, adding height without replacing the spring. Because they are installed between the mount and spring, the strut top and mounting hardware should be inspected for wear before fitting. Clean the mating surfaces so the spacers seat flat and do not shift under load.
Front height changes affect headlight aim, brake hose length and steering geometry, so recheck those items after installation. Hoses that were routed with the old height may come under tension at full lock. A short test drive on a level road helps reveal any clicking, rubbing or change in steering feel.
Keep the factory bump stops and strut components in good condition, because they control travel when the front is loaded. Replacing worn mounts at the same time keeps the front end consistent after leveling.
