Overview
The Tuff Country 42006 is a 1.75-inch front leveling kit for the 2011–2014 Dodge Durango and the 2011–2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee (WK). It raises the front to sit level with the rear, which allows slightly larger tires and removes the factory nose-down rake.
The front lift uses strut spacers, and it is a direct-fit, front-position installation. The rear is not lifted.

Strut spacers and front suspension
Strut spacers raise the front end by sitting between the strut and its upper mount, so the front lifts while the rear stays put. The added height changes the angle of the control arms and the front axle, which is why the front alignment should be checked after installation. Front shocks and their length also matter in this setup.
Pre-load spacers add compression to the spring, while upper strut spacers add height at the top of the strut. Inspect the spring seats and the strut mounts before installing, and confirm that the hardware is clean and undamaged. Bump stops that are worn or too short may need replacing once the front height changes.
