Overview
The Titan Tanks 60 Gallon Extra Capacity Fuel Tank and Shield, part number 7030303S, is a 60 gallon replacement fuel tank with a custom shield for Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 Quadcab long bed crew cab trucks. It is a direct fit for 2003–2010 and 2011–2012 Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks.
The tank is made from extra heavy duty cross-link polyethylene. Its 60 gallon capacity can extend driving range well beyond the original equipment tank, and the custom shield comes with the tank.

Shield and skid protection
A custom shield changes how a fuel tank handles rough ground. It covers the underside of the tank where rock strikes and stumps do most of the damage, but it can also trap mud and grit against the tank if drain paths are blocked. After any hard trail day, look for dents in the shield, scrapes on the tank and shield edges touching the frame, and debris packed between the two surfaces. Clean out grit before it can wear through the tank wall.
Shield mounting is part of the fitment check. Set the shield on the tank and confirm the mounting points line up before the tank goes in, and make sure the shield does not press against the exhaust, driveshaft or brake lines once installed. Zinc-coated fasteners resist corrosion well on road salt, but the strap and bushing hardware should still be inspected each season and replaced if rust flakes off. Keep the bushings clean so they keep the tank isolated from the frame.

Ram 2500 and 3500 models from 2013 onward are not in this list. Confirm your vehicle’s year, model and trim before ordering.
