Overview
The Thule Xsporter Pro 500XT is a multi-height aluminum truck rack for pickup beds, with a custom adjustable bar height for easier loading, carrying and storage. It fits Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford, GMC, Isuzu, Lincoln, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Ram, Suzuki and Toyota pickups from 1994 to 2018.
The bar integrates AirTrip Technology, which redirects airflow for better aerodynamics. A raised textured strip called WindDiffuser disturbs airflow to support quiet road performance, and included tool-free load stops help secure oversized loads.

Setting the bar height
Bar height changes how the rack sits over the bed, so set it based on what you carry. A lower position keeps tall loads from catching wind and makes it easier to reach items from the bed rail. A higher position leaves room for longer items to lie flat beneath it. Check that the bars clear the cab and any tonneau cover before tightening.
Airflow features are most noticeable at highway speeds, and a loaded rack changes how the truck handles crosswinds. Load stops should sit against the cargo, not just near it, and tie-downs should be rechecked after the first few miles. Keep the SecureLock keys with you rather than in the cab, since the rack stays protected only when the cylinders are engaged.
