Overview
The Rubicon Express RE15051 is a 6 inch front brake line extension and coupler kit for the 1987–1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ, pre-bent for YJ applications.
The kit adds 6 inches of length to the factory brake lines, a direct way to match a lift. It includes new front hard line extensions, couplers and the hardware to fasten the factory lines to the bottom outside of the frame rail.

Brake line length and lift
Lifting a Jeep pulls the factory brake lines tighter, so extending them keeps the hoses from stretching or rubbing once the suspension is at full travel. Hard lines are less flexible than rubber, which is why extension length and bend matter. Check lines whenever the suspension is changed, and look for kinks, chafing at the frame and wet fittings.
Brake system work should be done carefully. Bleed the system after any line change, and test the pedal before driving at speed. Old couplers and hardware often corrode on older Jeeps, so inspect them and replace anything damaged before installing new lines. Keep fluid at the correct level throughout.
