Overview
The Rubicon Express 24 inch front brake line set replaces the stock rubber front brake lines on 2 and 4-door Jeep Wrangler JK models. The set is 24 inches long and sold as a pair, and the JK front kit includes two brake lines.
The lines are stainless steel braided with a vinyl cover, designed for a firmer brake feel. The set suits lifted applications from 4 to 6 inches.

On the trail
Front brake lines move more than rear lines because they follow steering articulation as well as suspension travel. On a lifted Jeep, the line has to clear the tire, the control arm and the steering components through a full turn and a full compression. Routing that looks fine at rest can rub once the wheel is turned lock to lock.
Long front lines are best checked after a short test drive on uneven ground. Look for rubbing at the bracket, kinks near the caliper and any change in pedal firmness. Braided lines with a vinyl cover resist abrasion better than bare rubber, but they still need routing that keeps them away from moving parts.

They are for the JK only, so other Wrangler generations are not covered. Confirm your vehicle’s year, model and trim before ordering.
