Overview
The Rubicon Express RE6025T is a 3.5-inch Super-Ride short arm lift kit with twin tube shocks for the Jeep Cherokee XJ. It suits an owner who wants a more aggressive look, a higher ride stance and better trail performance. The kit keeps factory-like on-road handling and ride quality.
The kit replaces the lower control arms with Super-Ride arms that eliminate the weaker factory arms without adding road noise or vibration. Working with a short arm lift
A short arm lift changes the geometry of the front suspension, so the control arm angle, the steering linkage and the caster setting all move together. The kit replaces the lower control arms and coil springs, which means ride height and axle position are set by new parts rather than the factory ones. Check the front end for clearance once the arms are in place.
Lifted XJs also depend on the drivetrain. Changes in axle height can alter driveshaft angles and cause vibration at speed, so inspect the driveline after installation. Sway bar links, brake lines and shock length often need a look at the same time, since the new geometry can stretch or pinch them. Keep a record of the alignment settings you choose.
