Overview
The Rubicon Express RE7120M is a 2.5 inch Super-Flex suspension system with monotube shocks, a short arm design for on and off road performance. The kit is meant to keep the factory mounting systems and a low center of gravity, and the listed lift range is 2.5 to 3.5 inches.
The package includes eight adjustable upper and lower control arms with PT-MEG bushings and serviceable Super-Flex joints, an adjustable front track bar and tuned coil springs. Monotube shocks are included, and the kit allows for up to 35 inch tires.

Monotube shock considerations
Monotube shocks use a single tube with a piston and gas charge, and they are often chosen for steady damping under sustained load. On a short arm system with a raised ride height, shock length and travel should still be verified, since the new geometry changes how far each shock compresses.
The choice between shock designs comes down to use. Frequent off-road running, heavy loads and long trips put more heat into a shock, so inspect the shock body for leaks and the mounts for wear after rough sessions. Shocks that fade on long descents can reduce control on steep trails.
Routine care is straightforward. Wipe dirt from the shock bodies, check the bushings at each mount, and listen for knocking that may signal worn hardware. Replace shocks in pairs so that both sides of the vehicle respond the same way.
