Overview

Bed rail mounts
A mounting plate on the truck bed takes repeated loads from fuel packs, road bounce, and weather. Before mounting, look at the bed rails for rust, bends, or loose fasteners, since a weak rail will not hold a plate steady. Clean the contact area so the plate sits flat and does not rock under load.
