Overview
The RotoPAX LOX T-Handle, part RX-LOX-T, is a black anodized aluminum locking T-handle for RotoPAX pack mounts. It is for owners who already have a RotoPAX mount and want it to lock. The handle swaps into the existing mount, and the mount base is not included.
The design gives extra tightening power, which adds to security when the handle is locked.

Locking a pack mount
A locking handle only helps when the mount holds the pack firmly in the first place. Before relying on the lock, check that the pack sits flush against the mount with no rattle when you push on it. Look for worn threads, cracked edges or a loose mount base, because any of these can let the pack move even when the handle is turned fully.
Metal handles can take a lot of hand force, but tightening past the point of snug can stress the mount over time. Turn the handle until it seats firmly, then stop. Wipe grit from the threads now and then, and check the lock each time you refuel or move the pack. If the handle binds, back it off and inspect for debris before forcing it. Keep the handle clean and dry so it turns smoothly when you need it.
