Rear links and ride control
Rear sway bar links connect the rear bar to the axle or frame and help control body lean when the truck corners or hauls a load. Because the rear of a Super Duty carries heavy loads, worn links can allow noticeable movement, clunking over bumps, or uneven response when the bed is loaded.
When replacing rear links, match the position to the side of the truck and confirm the mounting points line up before tightening. Inspect the bushings and ball joints for cracks or looseness, and check the bar itself for bends. Rear and front links are different parts, so keep the positions clearly separated during the install.
