Overview
The Mishimoto MMRAD-F2D-60 is a direct-fit aluminum replacement radiator for the 6.0L Powerstroke diesel in 2003–2007 Ford Super Duty trucks. Keeping a 6.0L cool
The 6.0L Powerstroke runs hot under load, so the cooling system is worth reviewing at the same time as the radiator. Hoses, the radiator cap and the coolant should be checked and replaced when they show wear. Keeping the system clean helps the new core do its job, especially on trucks that tow or idle in traffic.
Related parts often replaced with a radiator include the fan clutch, the thermostat and the coolant recovery hose. Look for coolant residue at the tank seams, cracks around the end tank joints, and a fan that is hard to turn by hand. Catching a small leak early keeps a towing trip from becoming a roadside repair.
