Overview
The Mishimoto MMRAD-RAM-03 is an aluminum radiator for the Cummins diesel 2003–2009 Dodge Ram 2500 and 2004–2009 Dodge Ram 3500.
Mishimoto developed this performance aluminum radiator for the Dodge 5.9L and 6.7L Cummins engine as an upgrade over the factory radiator. It is designed to maximize cooling efficiency and protect the truck from overheating when daily driving, hauling or towing.
The radiator has a lightweight two-row core made of 100% brazed aluminum with TIG-welded aluminum end tanks for durability. Mishimoto says each of its performance radiators is a direct factory fit, with no cutting or modification required.

Cooling system upkeep
A radiator is only as good as the coolant and airflow moving through it. Use the coolant type called for for the engine, mix it to the correct ratio, and bleed air from the system fully so pockets do not cause hot spots. A cap that holds pressure properly keeps the coolant from boiling at high load, which matters when towing up grades.
Diesel trucks often run a transmission cooler and charge air cooling near the radiator, so airflow through the stack is shared. Clean debris from the core face after mud or dust, and check the fan shroud and fan clutch for cracks or looseness. Replace hoses that feel soft or swollen, since a failed hose can drop coolant quickly.
