Overview
The In Pro Carwear LEDT-420CS is a left-position LED tail light for 2007–2015 Jeep Wrangler JK models, covering both 2-door and 4-door vehicles. It has a Platinum Smoke lens for an updated rear look.
The assembly provides full-function turn, stop, running and back-up lighting. Its LEDs are brighter than factory lamps, illuminate quicker and last longer. Installation means cutting the OE lamp pigtail and splicing it onto the new assembly with the included hardware.

Splicing and wiring tips
A pigtail splice carries the full load of every lamp function, so the joint has to hold up to vibration and moisture. Crimp connectors sealed with heat-shrink tubing are the usual approach, and each splice should be placed where it cannot rub on the body or the interior trim. Tape or secure the wire bundle so it does not pull when the lamp is refitted.
Before you cut anything, test the old lamp circuit to confirm which wire carries each function. Label the wires as you go, since turn, stop, running and back-up circuits can look similar in color. Test the new assembly with the engine running and the lights on, then check each function once more after the trim is back in place.

Installation notes
The OE lamp pigtail must be cut and spliced to the new assembly, so use insulated connections and test every function before the interior trim goes back in.
