The Artec Industries RM6005 is a Dana 60 full hydraulic ram mount for double-ended hydraulic steering rams, sold as a single piece. It is a universal-fit mount that works with any tube diameter.
This heavy-duty mount is built to handle hard use and protect the steering components. The ram sits close to the axle centerline, and an integrated 1/4-inch-thick skid plate shields it from rocks.
The RM6005 pairs with Artec Ultimate Dana 60 High Steer Arms. The mount extends end to end along the axle tube and is gusseted against impact.

Matching the ram and arms
A full hydraulic steering setup depends on the mount holding the ram steady under load. When the ram moves in its mount, steering feels loose and centering becomes hard, so the mount and its hardware matter as much as the ram itself. Low mounting also keeps the ram from being levered by logs and rock edges during articulation.
Before buying, confirm the axle and ram brand you plan to use. Steering arms, tie rods and the ram should be chosen together so the geometry works as one system. Re-inspect the mounting hardware and skid plate bolts after the first few runs, because vibration loosens fasteners on any mount.
