Overview
The AirLift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Spring Kit, part 88215, is a rear air spring kit with adjustable air pressure and an internal jounce bumper inside each spring. It is aimed at keeping the rear of a vehicle level when it carries heavy loads.
The replacement air sleeves are high quality, and the kit can run with zero air pressure. No year, make, model or chassis is named. The kit carries the label ‘No 5th Wheel’, so confirm how that applies to your setup.

Setting air pressure
Air springs carry load by changing pressure inside the sleeve, so the pressure you run decides how much support the rear end gets. Set the pressure to the weight you usually haul and recheck it after loading, because a load that is too light for the pressure can make the ride harsh while one that is too heavy leaves the suspension working near its limit. Air pressure should also be checked on a regular schedule, since a slow leak at a fitting or sleeve can drop support without obvious warning.
Look for cracks, abrasion and bulges on the sleeves when the vehicle is raised, and replace a sleeve that shows damage rather than running it under load. When air springs are fitted with other rear upgrades, check that shocks, bushings and brake lines still clear the new parts.
