Overview
The TeraFlex 1251060 is a 2.5 inch suspension lift kit with 9550 VSS shocks for four-door 2007–2015 Jeep Wranglers (JK). It is a simple, performance-oriented lift that supports highway driving with off-road capability. It fits right hand drive JK Wranglers, including Rubicon and Unlimited models.
The kit includes 2.5 inch lift coil springs and 9550 VSS shock absorbers, along with a dropped pitman arm, front sway bar quick disconnects and rear sway bar links. A rear track bar bracket, bump stop extensions, brake line extension brackets, a transfer case lowering kit and all the necessary hardware are also included.
The suspension geometry, roll center and load tuning are engineered to keep the factory stability controls working within Jeep’s original parameters. The kit allows a tire of up to 35 inches, with aftermarket wheels of 4.5 inch backspacing or less. Additional modifications may be needed with this kit.

Setup and steering
Lifts that include a dropped pitman arm change the steering linkage angle, which can affect steering effort and centering. Front sway bar quick disconnects let the front end articulate more freely, though they also reduce resistance to body roll on pavement. Owners who run the disconnects on the road should understand that tradeoff before the first highway trip.
A transfer case lowering kit changes the driveline angle, so it is often installed with a driveshaft check. Stability control systems read wheel speed and steering input, so any change in tire size or geometry is worth testing in a controlled space. Re-torque the steering and track bar hardware after the first few drives.

Vehicle fitment
Covered trims: 70th Anniversary, Rubicon, Sahara, Sport, X, and their Unlimited counterparts, all 2007–2015 Jeep Wrangler (JK).
It is a four-door, right hand drive kit. Two-door Wranglers and model years outside 2007–2015 are not covered. Confirm your vehicle’s year, model and trim before ordering.
Installation notes
Extra modifications could be needed with this kit. Exhaust spacers, or another exhaust modification, may be necessary on 2012 and later JKs when the front extended shock length exceeds 24.5 inches. Measure the shock before installing.
