Overview
The Rugged Ridge 15201.15 is a black, 1.25 inch thick aluminum hub centric wheel adapter that lets 5 on 5 wheels mount on a 5 on 4.5 hub. Adapters move the wheel outward for wider tires and a wider track.
The body is extra thick 6061T6 aluminum with a black double anodized finish, and all hardware is grade-8. It is built for Jeeps with a 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern, and no model or year is tied to it.
Key features
- Converts a 5 on 5 wheel to a 5 on 4.5 hub, as described
- 1.25 inch thickness
- Hub centric design
- Extra thick 6061T6 aluminum
- Double anodized black finish
- Grade-8 hardware
Hub centric adapters and brakes
A hub centric adapter uses its own center bore to locate the wheel on the hub, which helps the wheel run true and carry load evenly. Adapters that change bolt pattern also shift the wheel outward, so brake calipers, lines and suspension parts need clearance checks. On a Jeep with a 5 on 4.5 hub, the tire may move closer to the steering or suspension parts than expected, so look for rubbing at full turns.
Lug nut seat type matters on an adapter. Conical seats must match the adapter’s seat, and mixing types can leave the wheel loose. Because the wheel sits farther out, it also puts more leverage on the studs, so re-torque after the first few drives. Inspect the adapter faces for embedded debris, check the studs for stretching and replace any adapter that shows cracks or heavy corrosion.

Vehicle fitment
It is universal fit and suits Jeeps with a 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern. Hubs that are not 5 on 4.5, or wheels that are not 5 on 5, will not match this adapter.
Confirm your vehicle’s year, model and trim before ordering.
Installation notes
An adapter changes the wheel’s mounting position, so check brake and suspension clearance with the wheel fitted. Confirm the studs suit the adapter before driving.
What’s included
Confirm whether studs or lug nuts are needed for your installation before fitting the adapter.
Not included: Plan on sourcing studs and lug nuts separately if your setup needs them, and check the package before starting.
