Matching coils to body style
Coil springs hold the vehicle at its set height and carry its weight, so the rate and lift both matter. Because body style changes the lift, a 2-door and a 4-door vehicle need different coils from this range even when the pair looks identical.
Before installing, measure the current ride height and compare it with the coil’s intended height. Inspect the spring seats, upper mounts and bump stops, and replace any that are cracked or compressed.
Coil swaps often change how the vehicle leans and how the shocks work. Plan on checking shock length and the sway bar links after the coils are in place, and recheck the alignment once the vehicle has settled.
