Rear lift considerations
Rear coils change the height and angle of the rear axle, which affects driveline geometry. A higher rear end steepens the driveshaft angles, and that can bring vibration under acceleration. Measuring the pinion angle after installation helps catch problems early.
Rear lift also affects shock length, brake line slack and the travel the suspension can use before the bump stops engage. Check the brake lines and shock mounts for stretch or strain at full droop, and look at the bump stops for wear.
Keep both coils the same and install them as a set so the rear sits level. Recheck the mounting hardware after the first few drives, and look for leaks or noise from the shocks as the new height settles.
