Description

Overview

The Rubicon Express JT7102 is a 4.5/5.5 inch standard adjustable arm suspension lift kit for the 2020–2022 Jeep Gladiator JT. It is a direct fit for the Launch Edition, Mojave, Overland, Rubicon, Sport and Sport S trims, and it installs at the front.

The rear lift uses coil springs, and the lift height range is 4 to 5.5 inches. The specifications list a 37-inch tire size and mark shocks as not included, with no front or rear shock named.

The standard system is designed for both on- and off-road use and improves street handling. It is a standard arm lift made for the JT Gladiator.

Key features

  • 4.5/5.5 inch standard adjustable arm suspension lift
  • Coil spring rear lift method
  • Front position listed in the specifications
  • Clearance for 37-inch tires, per the specifications
  • Shocks not included

Before you buy

Adjustable control arms take over the job of locating the axle, so their setting decides how the axle sits under the truck. Once the arms are adjusted, the caster, the pinion angle and the toe all need attention. Driveline vibration often shows up after a lift that changes the pinion angle, so a driveline check belongs in the install plan rather than after a problem appears.

Shock length is the other item to plan for. A higher ride height extends the shock travel needed, and a shock that is too short will bottom out on the trail. Check the brake lines and bump stops against the new height, and inspect the ball joints and bushings for wear at the first service.

  • Inspect ball joints and bushings at each oil change
  • Recheck alignment after the first few drives
  • Re-torque fasteners after the first trail outing

Questions & Answers

Does the Rubicon Express JT7102 fit a 2021 Jeep Gladiator Sport?

Yes. It fits the 2020–2022 Jeep Gladiator in the Sport trim, which covers 2021 trucks. The Sport S trim is covered as well.

Are shocks included?

No. The specifications mark shocks as not included, and no front or rear shock is named for this part number.

Which end does this kit lift?

It lifts the front. The rear uses coil springs for the lift, and the kit is designed for a 37-inch tire size.

Do adjustable arm lifts need a driveline check?

Yes. Changing the axle position alters the pinion angle, so measure the driveline angles after installation and correct them if they fall outside a normal range for your vehicle.
