Overview
The Pro Comp 58252 is a 2.5 inch rear lift block kit from Pro Comp Suspension. It is built for leaf spring rear suspensions and comes with two tapered cast iron riser blocks plus the U-bolts and hardware to mount them.

Before fitting tapered blocks
Tapered riser blocks are shaped to change the angle at the axle, which affects how the driveshaft joints work after a lift. Before fitting them, measure the current driveline angles so you have a baseline. Compare the angles after installation, since the change in height is what matters for joint wear.
U-joints and driveshaft slip yokes are often the first parts to show strain after a lift. Inspect them for play, dry bearings, or vibration at speed, and replace worn joints before they fail under the higher angle. Keep the U-bolts snug and re-check them after the first drives, since the leaves can settle.
