The Omix-ADA 16526.1 is a front tube seal and guide for the Dana 44 JK axle, sold each. It fits the 2012 Jeep Wrangler JK in the Rubicon, Sahara, Sport, Unlimited Rubicon, Unlimited Sahara and Unlimited Sport trims.

Tube seal replacement tips
A front tube seal and guide works at the point where the axle tube meets the knuckle, keeping lubricant in and dirt out around the shaft. Because the seal and guide work as a pair, a worn guide can wear a new seal quickly. Clean the tube end and the knuckle bore before pressing anything in, and check that the guide sits square.
The Dana 44 JK is often used on trails where water and mud find their way around the seal area, so check the old part for rust, nicks or a flattened lip. Keep the bearing area clean during the swap, and refill the axle to the correct level once the job is finished. Finally, test the seal by driving a short distance and checking the axle end for seepage.
