Description

Overview

The PIAA 23-10111 is an H11 halogen replacement bulb sold as a pair, part of the Xtreme White Hybrid line. It fits the 2015 Audi Q7 in the Premium, Premium Plus, Prestige, TDI Premium, TDI Premium Plus and TDI Prestige trims, and it has a universal fit H11 base.

The Hybrid design combines features from the Xtreme White Plus and Night Tech bulbs. Its newly developed coatings produce a whiter, brighter beam than stock halogen bulbs, with more contrast and farther down-road reach. The design balances output against bulb life.

Key features

  • Halogen H11 bulbs sold as a pair (twin pack)
  • Whiter and brighter beam than stock bulbs, per PIAA
  • Color temperature up to 3900K
  • Built with features from the Xtreme White Plus and Night Tech lines
  • Newly developed bulb coatings
  • DOT compliant for street legal operation
  • Backed by a 1-year warranty

Halogen bulbs in daily use

Halogen bulbs run hot and rely on a tungsten filament, so their output slowly drops as the filament thins over time. A beam that looks dim on one side is often an early sign that the bulb is near the end of its life. Because the glass gets hot, skin oil left on it can create a hot spot that shortens the bulb further, so handling by the base matters.

Halogen and LED upgrades do not behave the same in a housing designed for halogen. The filament position sets how the reflector and lens focus the light, so a bulb with a different light source can change the beam pattern. When you replace a pair, install both bulbs from the same package so their color and output stay matched.

  • Check the H11 base before buying spares
  • Handle the bulb by its base only
  • Replace the pair together
  • Keep the lens and reflector free of dust

Questions & Answers

Is the PIAA 23-10111 an H11 bulb?

Yes. It is an H11 halogen bulb sold as a pair, with a white color and a color temperature of up to 3900K. PIAA lists part number 23-10111 and UPC 722935810270.

Does this bulb fit the 2015 Audi Q7?

Yes, for the 2015 Audi Q7 in six trims: Premium, Premium Plus, Prestige, TDI Premium, TDI Premium Plus and TDI Prestige. Other model years are not covered, so confirm your trim before ordering.

Is the bulb street legal?

Yes, it carries DOT compliance for street legal use. Local rules on headlight color and output still apply where you drive.

How long is the warranty?

The bulb carries a 1-year warranty. Keep your purchase record with the packaging in case you need to make a claim.

How can I tell when the bulb needs replacing?

Look for a beam that has dimmed, a glass envelope that has darkened, or a filament that no longer glows evenly. Halogen bulbs fade gradually, so comparing both sides of the vehicle makes the change easier to see. Replace the pair together so brightness and color stay matched.

Can halogen bulbs be swapped for LED bulbs?

Not always. A halogen housing is designed around the filament position, so an LED bulb may not focus the same way. Check that any replacement is suitable for your lamp and permitted under local road rules before making the change.
