Overview
The 35-2052 is a master ring and pinion installation kit for the rear Dana 44 on the Jeep Wrangler JK Rubicon. It is for Wrangler JK Rubicon rears with a factory locker, covering 2007 through 2018 model years.
The kit is a full master set with bearings. It includes Timken inner and outer pinion bearings and races, carrier bearings and races, a pinion nut, pinion seal, crush sleeve, pinion and carrier shims, ring gear bolts, thread locking compound, gear marking compound and silicone sealer, so the ring and pinion can be changed with new bearings throughout.

Rubicon rear considerations
The rear Dana 44 on a Rubicon is usually built for heavy trail use, so the carrier, bearings and pinion see more load than on a standard rear. Before ordering, confirm the locker type, since a factory locker changes how the carrier is assembled and shimmed. A master kit gives a clean start, but it does not change the locker itself.
