The Daystar Comfort Ride Suspension Leveling Kit, model KT09135BK, is a Direct Fit rear suspension leveling kit with a 1.50 in. lift.
Rear leveling and everyday driving
A rear leveling kit adds height at the back of the vehicle to offset sag from cargo, a trailer hitch load or a heavy bed setup. The lift changes geometry at the rear, so ride feel, braking balance and headlight aim can all shift slightly. Measure ride height before and after installation to see the effect clearly.
Because the kit adds height, the stock shocks and bump stops may need a look. Worn shocks can make the rear feel bouncy once the vehicle is raised, and a shock upgrade is a common companion purchase for a rear leveling setup.
After installing, recheck the rear alignment, look for rubbing at the tire and fender, and confirm the brake lines and wiring have enough slack. Revisit the setup after the first few weeks of driving to catch loose hardware.
